About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Architect to join our team at HOK. As a key member of our architectural team, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from conceptual design to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership
    • Oversee the overall design intent of the project, ensuring that it aligns with the client's goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with project team members to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and are completed on time.
  • Design and Technical Expertise
    • Develop and implement design solutions that meet the client's needs and exceed their expectations.
    • Collaborate with project team members to develop and implement technical solutions that meet the project's requirements.
    • Ensure that all technical documents, including drawings and specifications, are accurate and complete.
  • Client Interface
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met.
    • Communicate project progress and status to clients, ensuring that they are informed and engaged throughout the project.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Collaborate with project team members to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience.
  • Experience
    • 10-15 years of experience in architectural project management.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of design, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
    • Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems, sustainability, integrated design, and LEED guidelines.
    • Thorough knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM), Integrated Design Process (IDP), and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD).
    • Advanced knowledge of QA/QC processes, building codes, and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.
