Position Overview

As a Food Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily activities of our culinary team at Mary Brown's Chicken. Your leadership will ensure that our food service meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
Work Environment

This position is based in a fast-paced food outlet, where you will be responsible for managing a team of 3-4 staff members, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Prepare and submit relevant reports as required.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
