About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health and Substance Use Clinician to join our team at the Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our Integrated Treatment Team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to individuals struggling with substance use issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat individuals with complex substance use disorders, often with co-occurring mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based modalities and therapies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and service delivery.
  • Provide urgent response and crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in substance use treatment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., counseling, psychology, social work).
  • Advanced practice experience in substance use treatment, preferably in an integrated care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches and modalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
