Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing services to assigned patients autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Evaluate, plan, implement, and monitor patient care effectively.
- Engage in discharge planning, advocate for clients, and provide education to patients and their families regarding health and wellness.
- Improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care delivered and respond to incidents following established protocols.
- Work alongside other healthcare professionals and uphold clinical expertise.
- Contribute to hospital committees and research initiatives as required.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Proficiency in nursing practice related to the designated patient population.
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
