We are seeking a dynamic leader to enhance the travel experiences of our customers.

The Head of Service Operations will report directly to the General Manager or the General Manager of Operations, taking charge of the Service Delivery division with comprehensive financial, operational, and compliance oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Service Delivery division (Transport/Dispatch), concentrating on financial and operational efficiency.
  • Manage the departmental budget effectively.
  • Oversee the Service Delivery team, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and retention strategies.
  • Provide strategic direction to improve service quality, minimize operational costs, and achieve excellence in Transportation Operations.
  • Plan and coordinate routes and schedules to ensure safe and cost-effective product delivery, emphasizing customer engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with other Unit Process Owners to address conflicts and eliminate system/process barriers.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures among employees.
  • Participate in investigations of incidents/accidents, focusing on enhancing safety measures.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Preferred degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
  • Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) / Logistics is a plus.

Experience:

  • Experience in a high-paced environment.
  • Prior experience managing large teams in Transport logistics (Union experience is advantageous).
  • At least 5 years in management roles demonstrating leadership and senior management capabilities.

Travel %: unit-specific, occasional travel may be necessary.

Exemption Classification: Exempt/Non-Exempt

Internal Relationships: various teams within the organization

External Relationships: Customers

Work Environment: Administrative/Management role, involving ramp-side operations and exposure to varying temperatures.

Other Considerations: Role may include physical activities and travel via commercial airlines.

Budget/Revenue Responsibility: Accountable for staffing, budget, and revenue generation to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
