About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installation Specialist to join our team at Hotek Holdings LTD. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed flooring plans and schedules for installation projects
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants to prepare surfaces for new installations
  • Install flooring materials on counter tops and raised platforms
  • Employ knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting and ensure a smooth finish
  • Perform direct glue-down carpet installations and other flooring tasks as required
Work Environment

As a Flooring Installation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction. You will be required to work on-site at customer locations, which may involve exposure to dust, odours, and other environmental factors.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in flooring installation
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with heavy loads and bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Hand-eye co-ordination and ability to distinguish between colours
