Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Maintain, repair, and renovate structures in various settings
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Work site environment: At heights, confined spaces, noisy, dusty, and outdoors
- Work setting: Construction, various locations
- Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools
- Transportation/travel information: Own transportation
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, and tight deadlines
- Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
- Experience: Will train, permanent employment, 37.5 hours per week, and English language
