About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Supervisor to join our team at Soghaat Sweets & Bakers. As a key member of our bakery operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality baked goods, managing a team of baking personnel, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management: Supervise and coordinate the production of baked goods, including preparing dough, batters, and icings, and ensuring that all products meet our quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Train and develop a team of baking personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet demand.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure that they meet our standards of cleanliness and safety, and take corrective action as needed to prevent contamination or other issues.
  • Scheduling: Schedule staff to ensure that we have adequate coverage during peak periods and that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Work Setting: Bakery or restaurant environment
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, and a team player
