Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Services Specialist

The Rehabilitation Physiotherapist will report to the Manager of Rehabilitation Services. The successful candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities. The physiotherapist may provide services in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required. The physiotherapist will educate and communicate with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers. The physiotherapist will provide supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and supervision of assistants.
About YouWe are seeking a highly skilled physiotherapist with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from an accredited university. Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists and BCLS are also required. Computer skills, including statistics input and word processing, are necessary. The successful candidate will have competencies in other languages, with French being an asset. Please ensure your resume is up-to-date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.
HoursThis is a permanent full-time position, 75 hours biweekly.
Compensation and IncentivesThe successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $42.89. They may also be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a signing bonus and relocation assistance with a defined Return of Service contract.
