Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Reporting: Log and report all incidents reported by hospital staff, physicians, patients, or visitors in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Patrol and Surveillance: Patrol the interior and exterior of the facility, preventing unauthorized entry and monitoring risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances and exits, and additional breaches of security.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance, communicate effectively with staff, patients, and visitors, and provide information regarding the facility as requested.
  • Relationship Building: Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and visitors through courteous and respectful relations perceived from their viewpoint.
  • Access Control: Monitor and screen visitors and clients in a professional manner to grant access to the facility.
Working Conditions

As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will work on assigned shifts, typically 8-12 hours, providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to code emergencies in a quick and efficient manner.

Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Display excellent customer service skills and be able to work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $19.00.
