Commercial Banking Relationship Manager

We're seeking a talented Relationship Manager to join our Commercial Banking team in Halifax. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and develop tailored solutions to help them achieve their goals.
As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Commercial Banking clients, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional client service. You will work closely with internal partners to connect clients with opportunities and leverage your industry knowledge to develop client/prospect proposals for financial and strategic solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the client portfolio.
- Work with internal partners to connect clients with opportunities and deliver exceptional client service.
- Develop and propose financial and strategic solutions to meet client needs.
- Proven experience in Commercial or Business Banking, with a strong understanding of financial statements and account principles.
- Demonstrated business development skills and a solid understanding of cash management requirements.
- Experience managing the credit quality of a portfolio of commercial banking clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal partners.
