We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Development Platform Engineering to lead our team in delivering a next-generation software delivery platform.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of platform developers and engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and nurture a community of developers, promoting knowledge-sharing and skill development.
- Drive collaboration on architectural decisions and technical strategies aligned with long-term platform goals.
- Design and develop robust, maintainable, and scalable RESTful API solutions using the latest technologies and best practices.
- Implement secure, reliable, and scalable APIs to deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in performance optimization, security, and maintainability.
- Integrate and exploit the latest capabilities of generative AI in a developer platform.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and evaluate their applicability to our platform.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, platform engineering, or DevOps, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing and scaling development platforms in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
