Your duties will encompass overseeing a portfolio of intricate cases, mediating conflict resolutions, executing comprehensive inquiries, and enforcing rulings when required. Your analytical thinking, communication prowess, and ability to resolve conflicts will be vital in this position.

About the Organization

The Labour Standards Division is committed to enforcing the Labour Standards Code and associated regulations in Nova Scotia. Our objective is to promote a just and inclusive workplace atmosphere while offering effective mechanisms for conflict resolution. Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage intricate cases to achieve service objectives.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution through effective mediation techniques.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree accompanied by 5 years of pertinent experience.
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying legal statutes.
  • Strong skills in conflict resolution and investigative processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational capabilities.
