  • Work collaboratively with Branch Managers and Wealth Management Consultants to ensure a comprehensive solutions approach for healthcare and professional clients.
  • Assist Scotiabank partners in structuring marketing efforts to finalize healthcare and professional transactions with existing clients.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding business banking solutions by gathering relevant information and conducting necessary due diligence.
  • Negotiate terms for financial products and services in accordance with bank policies.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the service setup process, providing necessary instructions and ensuring timely execution.
  • Manage an assigned credit portfolio while maintaining an acceptable risk level through close collaboration with Solutions Managers.
  • Conduct thorough credit reviews promptly and efficiently.
  • Authorize, renew, or decline client requests within established bank policies and limits, escalating others as necessary.
  • Ensure all documentation is meticulously maintained and completed, adhering to authorization conditions.
  • Identify and address any deviations from authorization conditions and trends affecting the loan portfolio, seeking opportunities to mitigate risk.
  • Develop an understanding of branch financial and non-financial objectives and how to contribute to them.
  • Set and negotiate ambitious yet attainable financial and non-financial goals.
  • Engage in team meetings, skill enhancement sessions, and one-on-one coaching.
  • Strictly adhere to bank and branch security protocols and report any unusual occurrences.
  • Comply with regulatory guidelines, including privacy and anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Understand the bank's risk appetite and culture in daily operations and decision-making.
  • Pursue effective and efficient operations while ensuring compliance with operational risk and regulatory standards.
  • Foster a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive workplace.

  • Insight into economic conditions affecting businesses in the healthcare and professional sectors.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence and persuade.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and functions, including mobility to meet clients.
