Position Overview

As a Chef de Partie at Jacobs & Company Steakhouse, you will play a vital role in our culinary team, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Chef Hierarchy

You will be recognized as a Chef de Partie, a key position within our kitchen structure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Introduce innovative cooking methods and equipment to the culinary staff.
  • Develop and refine new recipes.
  • Guide cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of dishes.
  • Oversee the activities of cooks and other kitchen personnel.
  • Prepare and cook meals or specialty dishes.
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Educate staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.

  • Fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical demands include handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Requires attention to detail and the ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.

Experience

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience is required.
