About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring that every dish that leaves our kitchen is of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
  • Participate in food inventory and control, ensuring that all ingredients are properly stored and used

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Culinary diploma or degree is an asset
  • Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Able to spend 100% of the time standing
