Innovation Center Team Member

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Automation Engineer to join our dynamic Innovation Center team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of advanced automation solutions for a wide range of applications.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test innovative automation systems
  • Utilize your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and control systems to create robust and reliable solutions
  • Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
  • Document and maintain technical specifications and procedures
Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in automation engineering principles and hands-on experience with relevant technologies.

  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Experience with Agile development practices is highly desirable
  • Understanding of automation mechanical, electrical and control systems is beneficial
  • Familiarity with machine operation, maintenance, service and troubleshooting is an asset
  • Knowledge of Machine Vision systems and solutions is advantageous
  • Understanding of PLCs and PLC communication is a plus
  • Exposure to business intelligence concepts is valuable
