Employee Experience Strategist

The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) is seeking a highly skilled Organizational Development Specialist to drive corporate-wide initiatives that enhance the employee experience and organizational culture. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and executing key initiatives that align with the WSIB's Corporate Strategy and People Strategy.
Main Responsibilities:The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead the research, design, development, and implementation of organizational development initiatives and solutions.
- Proactively assess and diagnose organizational needs relative to the strategic needs of the business.
- Apply a systems thinking approach to problem-solving when developing a solution or recommendation.
- Align organizational development solutions to the WSIB's Corporate Strategy, People Strategy, organizational values, and competencies.
- Use evidence and analytical insights to forecast trends and provide advice/recommendations on organizational development programs and solutions.
The Organizational Development Specialist will lead cross-functional project teams to design and implement enterprise-wide organizational effectiveness initiatives, including:
- Corporate recognition programs.
- Employee Experience surveys and Enterprise action planning.
- Strategic Workforce Planning.
- Performance Management programs.
- Corporate Values and competencies.
- Onboarding and off-boarding processes, including exit surveying.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., HR Management, Applied Behavioural Sciences, Industrial Organizational Psychology) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CHRL certification.
- At least 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a focus on building organizational effectiveness and culture.
- Experience in Performance Management, Engagement surveys, and action planning.
- Internal consultation experience working with leaders.
- Project management experience.
- Political acuity and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a persuasive and compelling manner.
