About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at BC Building Products Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including the maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient use of resources and meet production targets.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for regular maintenance and repair work to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop warehouse staff in duties and policies to improve productivity and job satisfaction.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure that all safety procedures are followed and that the warehouse is a safe and secure working environment.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the warehouse, including inventory management and shipping/receiving.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, reliable, and a team player.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with a team of experienced professionals. The work schedule will be 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime as needed.

Language and Work Term

The primary language of work is English, and the work term is permanent.
