CIBC is seeking a passionate and energetic Indigenous candidate to join our Talent Acquisition team. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a key role in sourcing and assessing top talent to support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing - Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to build a pipeline of high-quality candidates. Utilize your expertise in recruitment and labour market trends to identify and attract top talent.
  • Business Acumen - Stay up-to-date on labour market trends and competitor information to provide valuable insights to business partners. Build deep subject matter expertise in your portfolio to inform hiring plans and decisions.
  • Relationship Management - Foster strong relationships with leaders, internal partners, and candidates to deliver a best-in-class candidate experience. Consult with business partners on Talent Acquisition processes and outcomes to position yourself as a valued partner.

Requirements
  • Must identify as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit.
  • Must be over the age of 18.
  • Must have obtained your high school diploma.
  • Are a people person and are able to assess a person's skills and abilities.
  • Are a person that values trust, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Are a person that can think outside the box and champion strong candidates for our organization.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in human resources.
