Job Title: Insulation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at PB-23 DRYWALL & CONSTRUCTION LTD.

Job Summary:

The Insulation Specialist will be responsible for installing and maintaining insulation materials in various types of buildings, including residential and commercial properties. This role requires strong technical knowledge and physical stamina, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and apply the appropriate type of insulation material for each project
  • Measure and cut insulation materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Install insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
  • Supervise other workers and ensure that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently
  • Estimate costs and materials for each project
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to design and plan insulation installations
  • Remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead and mould and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in insulation installation
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Overtime required
