Almag Aluminium Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist Job Description

The Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist at Almag Aluminium is essential for ensuring the functionality and reliability of all production machinery and systems. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and collaborating with the Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will have the following qualifications and expertise:

Essential Qualifications

  • Valid Ontario Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433a) Trade Certification
  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial machinery maintenance
  • Proficient technical skills in hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, welding techniques, and electrical control systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance of all mechanical, fluidic, welding, and facility equipment
  • Address equipment failures promptly and execute necessary repairs
  • Educate team members on equipment operations and maintenance procedures
  • Perform routine maintenance and diagnose issues in hydraulic systems
  • Work in partnership with operational staff to enhance equipment performance
