Key Responsibilities- Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections of diesel generators and pumps to identify potential issues and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent downtime.
- Repair and Servicing: Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel generators and pumps, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of equipment inspections, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to company Health and Safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related mechanical experience, with a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
- Knowledge and Skills: Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and components, diesel engines, and computer applications. Strong understanding of diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Education and Certifications: Relevant trade certificate or equivalent education and experience. Valid G driver's license with a clean or satisfactory driver's abstract.
- Personal Qualities: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
