Pet Care Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Veterinary Helper at V&V Enterprises, DBA Clearbrook Animal Hospital. As a key member of our animal care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our furry patients.
Responsibilities- Bathing and Grooming: Bathe and shampoo animals, ensuring their coats are clean and healthy.
- Cleaning and Disinfecting: Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of animals treated, including their medical history and treatment plans.
- Assisting Veterinarians: Assist veterinarians with inoculation and treatment of animals, ensuring the highest level of care and compassion.
- Supply Management: Maintain and order supplies, ensuring that our animal care team has everything they need to provide exceptional care.
- Animal Handling: Handle animals with care and attention to detail, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Physical Demands: Be physically capable of lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
- Work Setting: Animal hospital environment.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
- Work Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
