Key Responsibilities- Animal Care and Handling
- Assist veterinarians with animal handling, restraint, and care during treatment and surgery
- Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals
- Medical Support
- Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian
- Administer treatments as prescribed by a veterinarian
- Client Communication
- Counsel clients on animal health care and provide education on animal behavior and nutrition

- Perform routine office management and clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping
- Education
- College or CEGEP diploma in a related field
- Experience
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is an asset
