Dietary Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients by providing exceptional food service.
Key Responsibilities- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our patients.
- Portion and wrap foods, adhering to established portion control guidelines.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars, maintaining a well-organized and efficient food storage system.
- Perform other related duties as required, supporting the overall success of our food service team.
- Food Safety Certificate
- Safe Food Handling certificate
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Criminal record check
As a Dietary Aide, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, interacting with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
