About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Assembly Supervisor to join our team at Jastram Engineering Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly of electronic components and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Provide guidance and training to electronics assemblers, fabricators, inspectors, and testers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to identify and address any defects or issues with assembled components.
  • Work Prioritization: Establish and prioritize work tasks to ensure deadlines are met and production goals are achieved.
  • Staff Management: Coordinate, assign, and review work tasks, as well as participate in staff meetings to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
  • Health and Safety: Oversee the safety of operations and ensure that all staff members are aware of and follow safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electronics assembly or a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colors.
