Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Unit Support Worker is a vital member of the St. Boniface Hospital team, responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various cleaning functions and services throughout the hospital and annexes.
  • Work under the direction of the Supervisor to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, lift, and reach continuously throughout the shift.
  • Current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
