We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Unit Support Worker to join our team at St. Boniface Hospital. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform various cleaning functions and services throughout the hospital and annexes.
  • Understand and follow Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Grade 10 education.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to interact well with others.
  • Ability to retain confidential information.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced situations.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, lift, and reach continuously throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs/11 kgs.
