Job Title: Advanced Practice Nursing Supervisor

Meadow Lake Tribal Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practice Nursing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our health services team, you will be responsible for supervising, assessing, and facilitating the unique practice of primary care nurses in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and evaluate the practice of primary care nurses to ensure they are meeting the needs of our community.
  • Provide professional nursing support, mentorship, and leadership to primary care nurse employees.
  • Monitor primary care nursing practice in accordance with accreditation standards.
  • Support program planning by identifying potential gaps in health services and participating in the development and implementation of nursing program policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (RN) with a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan.
  • Knowledgeable in emergency, community health nursing practice, communicable disease programs, and home care.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • RN with Advanced Authorized Practice (AAP) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) designation.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a primary care setting.
  • Experience working in northern First Nation communities.
