Secure the Future of Cloud Native Applications

Operant AI, Inc. is seeking a talented engineer to build and scale our application protection capabilities in the backend. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing scalable and resilient code that meets the rapidly increasing scale requirements of our customer deployments and end users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement backend command and control capabilities that actively secure cloud native apps, integrated with a variety of cloud provider services.
  • Develop and maintain scalable and resilient code that meets the needs of our customers and end users.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to document and communicate design decisions, supporting a remote and asynchronous work culture.
  • Function independently, making technical choices in the presence of unknowns, and take an active interest in understanding customer problems while building features in an iterative manner.
Requirements:
  • Advanced to expert level experience with Kubernetes and at least one well-known cloud platform.
  • Good understanding of networking layers L3-L7+.
  • Experience building integrations with various cloud provider APIs.
  • Knowledge of Operating Systems/Network Security fundamentals.
  • Experience with Golang/C++, REST/GRPC/GraphQL, Webassembly.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as part of a remote team.
  • D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or similar equivalent industry experience.
