Operant AI, Inc. is revolutionizing cybersecurity with its cutting-edge technology, protecting applications across the cloud native stack from infrastructure to APIs, and data to AI.

We're seeking a talented engineer to build and scale our application protection capabilities in the backend, ensuring the security of modern cloud native applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and resilient code to meet the rapidly increasing scale requirements of our customer deployments and end users.
  • Collaborate with the team to make well-reasoned architectural choices that balance stability, performance, and agility.
  • Document and communicate design decisions to support a remote, asynchronous work culture.
  • Function independently, making technical choices in the presence of unknowns.
  • Take an active interest in understanding customer problems while building features in an iterative manner.
Requirements:
  • Advanced to expert-level experience with Kubernetes and at least one well-known cloud platform.
  • Good understanding of networking layers L3-L7+.
  • Experience building integrations with various cloud provider APIs.
  • Knowledge of Operating Systems/Network Security fundamentals.
  • Experience with Golang/C++, REST/GRPC/GraphQL, WebAssembly.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently as part of a remote team.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or similar equivalent industry experience.
