Sample Logistics and Reception Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome all clients with a warm and positive demeanor
  • Receive and process client samples efficiently
  • Unpack and categorize samples based on analytical specifications
  • Sort, distribute, and preserve samples appropriately
  • Ensure accurate entry of client samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
  • Redirect samples as necessary
  • Maintain inventory levels of supplies
  • Coordinate and prepare requests for bottle orders
  • Label and dispense materials in compliance with safety regulations
  • Verify the accuracy of sorted bottles against orders
  • Pack samples securely for transportation, adhering to relevant regulations
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper condition of all packing materials
  • Process and print shipping orders from LIMS for timely dispatch
  • Prepare necessary containers and supplies for sample collection
  • Receive and verify incoming supplies, ensuring proper delivery
  • Collaborate with couriers for efficient pickup and delivery
  • Maintain stock of sampling containers and media
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
