Job Title: Transportation Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at 18 WHEELS LOGISTICS LIMITED PARTNERSHIP.

Job Summary:

The Transportation Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of goods and materials, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our customers. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and process orders and instructions received from customers
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and ensure efficient logistics operations
  • Plan and coordinate the operational logistics of the organization, including warehouse management and inventory control
  • Track and complete work orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods and materials
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments, including warehouse and production teams
  • Prepare and submit reports on logistics operations and performance
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of logistics activities
  • Organize and maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment
  • Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units to ensure smooth logistics operations
  • Monitor and track shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
  • Stay up-to-date on cross-border dispatching regulations and practices
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • 1-2 years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
