EM Dynamics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our EHS department, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate incidents and near-misses, and report findings to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Safety Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement safety programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Training and Development: Deliver training sessions to employees on health and safety protocols, and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Record Keeping and Data Entry: Maintain accurate records of incidents, near-misses, and safety training, and enter data into our corporate tracking system.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with EHS professionals, plant managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on health and safety matters.
Requirements
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
  • Currently enrolled as a full-time post-secondary student in a recognized institution
