Join the Northeastern Alberta Aboriginal Business Association Team
The Northeastern Alberta Aboriginal Business Association is currently seeking applications for one (1) Temporary Automotive Service Technician to become a valued member of our team. This role involves a unique schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off, with 12-hour shifts totaling 84 hours per rotation. Overtime compensation is available after 8 hours of work each day, as well as for all hours worked on weekends. Please be aware that work hours, schedules, and locations may vary based on operational needs. This position requires the successful candidate to have their own transportation and accommodation within the region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately complete all work order job lines in accordance with company standards.
- Conduct comprehensive automotive diagnostics and repairs.
- Perform front-end alignments and tire services.
- Mentor and train apprentices in automotive service.
- Collaborate effectively within a diverse team environment.
- Engage with third-party customers professionally.
- Prepare estimates and maintain precise records of work performed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Qualifications:
- Alberta Journeyperson Trade Ticket is mandatory; Inter Provincial Red Seal is preferred.
- Proven experience in automotive repairs and a strong understanding of computer diagnostics.
- A valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
- A valid CVI license is considered an asset.
- Experience in customer service is required.
