Job Description for Automotive Service Technician

At Sam's Auto Shop, we are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing motor vehicles, adjusting and repairing parts and components, and performing scheduled maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect motor vehicles in operation to identify any issues or defects
  • Test automotive systems and components to diagnose problems
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components as needed
  • Perform scheduled maintenance services to ensure vehicles are running smoothly
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
