Job Title: Construction Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Construction Electrician to join our team at Maple Contractors Ltd. as a key member of our electrical services department.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various construction settings. This includes working on electrical controls and panel boxes, underground wiring and cables, and designing and constructing single-phase and multiphase services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain electrical systems in construction settings
  • Repair and replace electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Design and construct single-phase and multiphase services
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults
  • Supervise other workers and ensure safe working practices
  • Estimate costs and materials for electrical projects
Requirements:
  • Electrician Trade Certification
  • North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) solar heating installer Certification
  • Working at heights training
  • Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • CADD Course
  • Propane in Construction Record of Training
  • Confined Space Entry Training
  • Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Construction Electrician Red Seal Certificate
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The work will involve working at heights, in dusty and hot conditions, and may require working outdoors.
