We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2539766 Ontario Inc.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and excellent customer service are provided to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our clients.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and improvement.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, staff, and vendors, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform other job-related tasks.
Our food service department operates in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing high-quality food and excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods, with regular breaks to rest and recharge.
Language:The primary language of work is English or French, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff in both languages.Hours of Work:
The successful candidate will be required to work 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities.
