We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2539766 Ontario Inc.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and excellent customer service are provided to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our clients
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, staff, and vendors, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform other job-related tasks
