Job Title: Senior Real Estate Law Clerk

We are seeking an experienced Senior Real Estate Law Clerk to join our team at Lawson, Clark & Oldman. As a key member of our real estate team, you will be responsible for managing real estate transactions from start to finish, ensuring seamless and efficient closings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage purchase, sale, and mortgage refinance transactions on residential and commercial files
  • Review and draft purchase and sale agreements
  • Conduct and interpret title searches
  • Prepare and coordinate all closing documents
  • Prepare disbursement statements and draft accounts
  • Prepare final reporting to clients and lenders
  • Organize documents for files
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in a Real Estate Law Clerk role
  • Law Clerk Diploma from an accredited Ontario Law Clerk program certified with the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario
  • Proficient in Teraview, Unity, PCLAW, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask and manage real estate files from start to finish
  • Excellent ability to multitask, be highly organized, and exceptional attention to detail
  • Professional and ability to work independently and juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently, solve problems, and demonstrate initiative
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Client service oriented
