Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Lead Server to join our team at Delta Hotels Thunder Bay. As a Lead Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Answer questions about menu items and provide recommendations
  • Communicate with the kitchen to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tables, floors, and equipment
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining area
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work collaboratively with other servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 2 years of related work experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
