Food and Beverage Server

Deliver exceptional service to guests by serving food and beverages, answering menu questions, and communicating with the kitchen to ensure seamless service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • Answer questions on menu selections
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, and product availability
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and assigned tables
  • Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, and special requests to the kitchen
  • Inspect and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silverware
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned tables
  • Communicate with guests and other employees to ensure optimum service

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist management in hiring, training, and scheduling employees
  • Support team to reach common goals and ensure adherence to quality expectations
  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 2 years of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • None
