Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team at MasterTech. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process parts orders, invoices, and paperwork efficiently and accurately
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff on the status of work orders
  • Provide detailed and up-to-date reports on scheduled repairs, conducted services, and potential issues based on diagnostic inspections
  • Offer expert recommendations and insights to ensure optimal customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Red Seal Certification in Automotive Service Technology
  • Working knowledge of automotive equipment and systems
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with the Service Department team and shop management
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • A valid Canadian driver's license and ability to provide a driver's abstract for review

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $34.00 – $43.00/hour flat rate based on experience and training
  • Tools Allowance – $300 per year
  • Boots Allowance – $120 reimbursed at the end of the year
  • Benefits available after 90 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision, life, and vacation

Work Schedule:

  • Day Shift, 8:00am to 4:30pm; overtime available
