Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Shop Manager to join our team at Serpa Automotive Group. As a Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department, ensuring that repairs are executed accurately and promptly by our skilled technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, motivate, and manage a team of skilled service technicians to ensure efficient and high-quality repairs.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular performance reviews, assign repairs equitably, and provide technical support when needed to ensure accurate billing and thorough quality checks on completed jobs.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain meticulous records, follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, and promptly address any complaints.
  • Department Efficiency: Utilize performance metrics and tools to manage department efficiency, productivity, and customer service.
  • Shop Operations: Monitor technicians' productivity and shop conditions, recommending equipment purchases and ensuring proper tool care and inventory.
Requirements
  • Experience: License for over 3 years
  • Skill: Diagnostics
  • Knowledge: Domestic knowledge is an asset
  • Personal Qualities: Highly motivated, strong communication skills, punctual, honest, and a valid driver's license.
