Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team at Dev Truck Repairs Inc.. This role involves the repair and replacement of various automotive glass components, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in automotive glass repair is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and estimate repair costs based on damage evaluation reports.
  • Prepare surfaces for repair by filing, grinding, and sanding.
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
  • Utilize tools to hammer out dents, buckles, and imperfections.
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs.
  • Employ soldering equipment or plastic fillers to address holes, dents, and seams.
  • Straighten bent frames using specialized pulling and anchoring equipment.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and physically demanding work setting.
  • Requires attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
