As a School Bus Driver with First Student, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school. With a strong commitment to safety and customer service, you'll be part of a team that's dedicated to making a difference in the lives of students and families.

About the Role

As a School Bus Driver, you'll be responsible for:
  • Operating a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Providing excellent customer service to students and parents, responding to their needs and concerns
  • Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
  • Assisting students with boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring their safety and well-being

What We Offer

As a School Bus Driver with First Student, you'll enjoy a competitive starting wage of $22.75-$24.75 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer:
  • No experience necessary - we provide comprehensive training
  • 4 hours guaranteed per day
  • Additional hours available through charter route opportunities
  • No nights or weekends

Requirements

To be successful as a School Bus Driver with First Student, you'll need:
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • At least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license for at least 2 years
  • Pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks
