As a School Bus Driver with First Student, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school. Our drivers are the face of our company, and we're committed to providing a positive experience for our students and their families.

About the Position

We're seeking experienced and safety-conscious drivers to join our team. As a School Bus Driver, you'll be responsible for:

  • Transporting students safely and efficiently to and from school
  • Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
  • Providing excellent customer service to students and their families
  • Working collaboratively with other drivers and support staff to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience
What We Offer

We're proud to offer our drivers a competitive compensation package, including:

  • A starting wage of $22.75-$24.75 per hour, depending on experience
  • A 4-hour guarantee to ensure you earn a minimum amount per day
  • Additional hours available through charter route opportunities
  • No nights or weekends required
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • A valid driver's license for at least 2 years
  • At least 21 years old
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background check
