Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing items including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
- Ensure dining areas are tidy by clearing and cleaning tables, trays, and chairs.
- Sanitize kitchen spaces, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in appropriate storage areas such as refrigerators and cupboards.
- Manage kitchen waste by removing garbage and trash regularly.
- Perform floor maintenance by sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing.
- Assist in food preparation by washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
This position is set in a fast-paced environment where the ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods is essential. The role requires working efficiently under pressure.
Personal Attributes- Reliability and dependability are crucial for success in this role.
- Being a team player is essential to foster a collaborative kitchen atmosphere.
- Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
- This is a permanent position with a commitment of 40 hours per week.
- The primary working language is English.
