Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide primary health care services to our patients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in community health and a passion for health promotion.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary health care services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of common acute illnesses and stable chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement health promotion programs to improve the health and well-being of patients and communities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide inter-professional care and support.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
- Master of Nurse Practitioner degree or equivalent.
- Three years of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse.
- One year of experience in community development/health promotion activities.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Basic Life Support Level C Certificate (BLS-C).
- Advanced organizational skills.
- Advanced decision-making skills.
- Advanced facilitation skills.
- Advanced communication skills.
- Advanced research skills.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Advanced leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to develop and deliver formal education programs.
- Knowledge of the diversity of cultures, values, and traditions.
- May be eligible for additional incentives.
- One year of nursing experience in a primary health care setting preferred.
- Travel required.
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
